Libraries across the country have direct and valuable impact on the communities they serve, and ours is no exception. Whether we’re helping answer a homework question, providing secure WiFi for citizenship submissions, or the place where you can come meet folks in the same stages in life, our library is a place where seemingly small moments have ripple effects that build into life-changing impact.
Stories Through the Data
We believe that stories emerge through our data; it helps tell a story of our community impact. Transparency and accountability are important to us, and so, each month we report to our Library Board of Trustees on our progress towards achieving our mission and vision. Below are the metrics we associate as success indicators for our vision focus areas.
Inspiring Lifelong Learning
We believe that learning and exploration are essential parts of our shared human experience. These happen in many ways, at different paces, and last a lifetime. We strive to engage individuals of all ages and interests in wondering and discovering what was, what is, and what’s to come.

Fostering Early Literacy
We believe that literacy is a key component to learning and future success. We work to cultivate a love for lifelong learning in the children of our community through essential aspects of early literacy, such as reading, writing, singing, playing, and talking.
